- 20+ Counters: this could be anything that is similar looking objects e.g. buttons, beans, pennies, erasers, etc)
- Cuisenaire Rods
- Pattern Blocks
- Number Cards 1-10
- DIY Version (highly recommend! with cardstock or index cards). There is a printable version in the lesson resources.
- Tiny Polka Cards
- Shapes for Building Number Towns
- You can use the printable file and cut them out by hands or cricuit.
- Alternatively you can cut your own out OR use stamps or stencils
- Handheld Examples of 3D Shapes: You most likely have examples of these already in your house.
- Cone (icecream cone or party hat)
- Cylinder (canned good or container)
- Sphere (ball or globe)
- Cube (block or dice)
- Geometric Solids: You could also buy a premade set from most educational supply stores
- Shape Building Supplies: Any supply you have around the house or yard could work. You need something with straight pieces (straws, popsicle sticks, q-tips) and flexible things for curves in circles and ovals (wikisticks, string, pipecleaners). To build 3D shapes, add in something like playdough to help hold things together.
