  • Coloring Supplies

  • Scissors/Glue
  • 20+ Counters: this could be anything that is similar looking objects e.g. buttons, beans, pennies, erasers, etc)
  • Cuisenaire Rods
  • Pattern Blocks 
  • Number Cards 1-10
    • DIY Version (highly recommend! with cardstock or index cards). There is a printable version in the lesson resources.
    • Tiny Polka Cards
  • Shapes for Building Number Towns
    • You can use the printable file and cut them out by hands or cricuit. 
    • Alternatively you can cut your own out OR use stamps or stencils
  • Handheld Examples of 3D Shapes: You most likely have examples of these already in your house. 
    • Cone (icecream cone or party hat)
    • Cylinder (canned good or container)
    • Sphere (ball or globe)
    • Cube (block or dice) 
    • Geometric Solids: You could also buy a premade set from most educational supply stores
  • Shape Building Supplies: Any supply you have around the house or yard could work. You need something with straight pieces (straws, popsicle sticks, q-tips) and flexible things for curves in circles and ovals (wikisticks, string, pipecleaners). To build 3D shapes, add in something like playdough to help hold things together.
